Electronic Filing (EFiling)

Methods

There are two types of EFiling...

• NetFile: This is used by individuals to complete and electronically file thier own personal and/or professional return, and
• EFile: This is used by businesses to complete and electronically file another individual's or business's return.

Authorization

We are required to get your authorization each year to complete and EFile your tax return. A current year version, that is signed by you the taxpayer, is required for verification upon CRA's request, and is to be retained for at least six (6) tax years from the successful transmission date.
